gas smell

The evaporative fuel system could be clogged or cracked causing the smell to be present. Also there can be a small leak somewhere in the fuel system. Have you had the vehicle on a hoist to fully inspect for the problem, if not you may wish to take it to a facility that can do this for you. Good Luck
