I hear a metal clanking noise when I'm driving and hit a bump or any rough road.

What is your question?

I can hear it coming from my left rear tire area. It sounds like metal objects being dropped or banging into each other. If this helps, I know I need to get a new tire-- the tread is worn. And, I've also hit more than a few bad potholes.

What makes this problem better or worse?
