What is your question?
About 7 months ago, (October/November 2018), my 2001 Honda CRV, (now has 207K miles), started shaking when at lights, or sitting at stop sign, or driving in slow stop and go traffic. Check Engine light goes off and on, but mostly stays on. Had new spark plugs and wires. Still had problem. Had a new distributor put on this month (May 2019). Still have exact same problem. Car drives smoothly on highway although check engine light still on. I am really getting worried, as this car has so many miles, and I cannot afford more repairs. I think the vacuum (?) was checked and it was o.k. Do I have a bad mechanic?
What makes this problem better or worse?
worse when engine running, but slowing down at lights or stop signs, or moving very slowly in stop and go traffic. Weather doesn't seem to be an issue, or if the engine is hot or cold.
How long has your 2001 Honda CR-V had this problem?
At least 8 months. Check engine light had come on. Had new plugs and wires, but didn't help. Put in new distributor within past two weeks. Check engine light still on, and still vibrates during the same conditions.lugs and wires after 4 months
