What is your question?
I am having problems removing the inoperable power transistor on my 2001 Honda CR-V. I don't know if I have to remove the lower part of the blower unit in order to release the power transistor. The power transistor base is under the plastic top part of the blower. Held in place by two screws. I would really appreciate any instruction you can inform me. Thank you very much.

Remove the two screws that are holding down the old power transistor and pry it up with a wide flat screwdriver. If you have the new part then you know it looks like a square plug on top of an upside down aluminum L shape with metal blades for the air to flow and cool(the little flat circle about the size of a quarter is what went bad, but they made it so that you have to replace the whole unit). Don't be tempted to just unplug the old one and plug in the new one without placing it in where it belongs. The new one will burn out in just a day or two. It needs the air flow in it's setting to cool it properly and keep working. *I know it's been a while since the question was asked, but there were no answers and someone may still need to know.
