The biggest electrical load on a car is the starter motor. The starter motor get energy/electricity from the battery when you start the car. The car's alternator then ties to recharge/replenish the energy taken out of the battery by the starter motor once the engine has started. The fan belt that drives the alternator is loose or degraded and needs to be adjusted or replaced. Because the alternator puts a heavy load on the engine trying to recharge the battery the fan belt will slip if it is not properly tensioned. A belt will cost $20 to $25 and .6 to .7h to replace.
