What is your question?
While driving it will stall, I have tried pop starting but it will not work. I can turn the ignition over numerous times before finally killing the battery. But, then usually after sitting a while it will start and run for a while. It has happened numerous times while out driving. Just brought it into someone (they checked why the engine light was on) and they say it comes up as a problem with the catalytic converter. That they had just replaced for ($800) and the muffler ($400). Now I'm told the need to replace the entire distributor... ($500) What would you say is the problem?????? Thank you!!!!

Wait I have had this problem...when the distributor warms as the car is driven, the coil pack composition which insulates May be breaking down.....if your car had overheated for any reason in the past ,this could have started the problem......after market coil pack work well and sure beat the price of original part.....wand replacing a coil pack is not a big deal....just go slow and make a diagram of what you see ....follow the crv book from a library......good luck......old singer here......
