Hello, This particular issue could be related to the transmission control module, but is more likely related to heat and friction loss in the transmission. Have a certified transmission specialist inspect and diagnose the vehicle, as a hands-on inspection is going to be needed to identify the cause. Also, if the transmission fluid and filter have not been changed on time, every time, transmission damage will occur much more frequently.
