I’m trying to change my transmission fluid but where I have it park it’s almost flat it’s park in the street

Changing the transmission fluid on your 2015 Honda Civic is definitely something you can do on a flat surface, but it’s not ideal to do it on a completely level surface. The reason is that transmission fluid levels are checked when the car is running and on a level surface, so you want the fluid to settle correctly when you drain and refill. If your car is almost flat, you may still be able to manage, but you’ll want to make sure it’s as level as possible for an accurate fluid change. If the street you’re on isn’t ideal, consider using wheel chocks and, if you can, jack up one side to get the car a little closer to level.
