Key fob works - but does not unlock door...nor does the manual key work

Hello, is this a keyless start vehicle -- with a start - stop button? I can't imagine the car would start if the buttons don't work; the programming procedure programs the buttons to the lock / unlock while also enabling starting the car. If it's a conventional key, you say it works in the ignition but not the door?
