I have 14 Honda Civic with a bad tranny and I found a 12 Honda civic tranny and whanted to know if they where compatible

It will be important to know which engine you have - which model trim style you have. It is possible if you have 1.8L in both vehicles that they will interchange. Can you share more information about your vehicle and the source vehicle?
