What is your question?
It is the second time my car has shut off while on drive just as I turned on the air to max a/c. Once while waiting for cars to pass , the other in the middle of the road while waiting for green light. No warning lights are alerting me of a problem. Is that normal? It is sluggish to accelerate .
What makes this problem better or worse?
Noticed It’s worse when A/C is on max A/C or when stopping or accelerating
How long has your 2014 Honda Civic had this problem?
Few weeks

Hello, although I cannot be sure, I would be focusing on excessive drag and load caused by a potentially worn air conditioning compressor. When the compressor is running, it normally creates extra stress on the engine and causes the engine to have to pick up more of a load. But, if the engine is not up to the task due to a fuel or air or ignition issue -- or if the compressor is binding when turning, the drag can be more than the engine can handle and stalling can occur. As far as warning lights - indeed, you would get no warning lights before a stall if this is the case --- and actually, wouldn't get warning lights for most other possible cause either. As this is a big safety issue, I'd have it addressed right away. Use this link to find some shops near you that can help with your concern: www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
