Something is continuously and slowly draining battery

What is your question?

I have a new battery (1 year). It has been determined to be working well however while the car is sitting unused for a week the battery is drained and has to be recharged. This has only been happening in the last few months. MyHonda Civic is a 2012 and the problem has never occurred before.

What makes this problem better or worse?
