What is your question?
I'm making an effort to become more 'green' and I think purchasing a hybrid car would help with that. Based on my budget, I can probably afford a used Honda Civic Hybrid. I just want to make sure I don't have to plug it in like all those new 'eco-friendly' cars that are being made nowadays.

You don't need to plug in the Honda Civic Hybrid — there isn't even a plug, Honda says. Instead, the battery recharges using the engine. The new Honda Clarity offers a plug-in option, though.
Awesome that you are going green. Most "hybrids" do not have a plug to charge the battery. There are a few like the chevy volt, prius prime, BMW I3, that have normal gas engines and a hybrid drivetrain so they have plugs and then full electric cars like a Tesla obviously have a plug. The 2012 Civic hybrid was just a standard hybrid, so no plug. Alex
Great to know. Thanks for your response!
That is so handy that you don't have to worry about recharging a Honda Civic Hybrid.
Wow, these hybrids are so advanced. Growing up, I never thought cars would be able to power themselves.
I would definitely forget to unplug and would probably rip out a whole wall of my garage in doing so! Ha!
