Can I drive my car without the AC compressor?

Hello, Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. You should not bypass your air conditioning compressor. I have seen bypass pulleys installed in place of the compressor if it is frozen and you don't want to repair it. That is an option but it's difficult to suggest and I would recommend the shop help you with that.
