Why is my heater and AC not working?

What is your question?

My heater wasn't working on my way home from work, all of a sudden. Also the AC wasn't working either, the lights weren't even turning on when I switched them to on, on the AC/Heater knobs. The temperature gauge was working fine. Just was really cold in my car.
