It's a rubber piece. Will start to crack and dry rot over time. If you have a mechanically incline friend ask them for help as the job is not complicated. Or take it to an independent shop, they will be cheaper than the dealer. Call the dealer and then other shop for estimates.
THANK U!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That is exactly what i have done. Honda, identified issue was 630.00, so I research authorized service center, and paid 461.00. I was rear ended and did not have shaking b-4, however honda's wording prevented ins from paying. I also researched this issue after speaking to mechanic that did repair his info eluded that honda know their is some type of defect at low mileage, but refuse to do recall.. I am not done with HONDA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Keep your receipt. If there is ever a recall, you might get your money back
