Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! You’ve thrown quite a bit at this Civic, but if you’re still dealing with no acceleration and the car feels like it’s in limp mode, let’s dig a little deeper. The P0523 code points to an issue with the oil pressure sensor circuit—often related to either a bad sensor (which you’ve replaced) or electrical wiring problems. Since this code can trigger limp mode, make sure the new sensor’s wiring and connectors are in good shape, and check for any corrosion or loose connections that might be causing a bad signal. Another thing to consider is the throttle body and throttle position sensor (TPS). If these aren’t functioning correctly, they can severely limit acceleration. Cleaning or replacing the throttle body might help. Lastly, unmetered air can mess with performance so check you MAF sensor and for holes in your air intake tube. That's a bit far-fetched, but it can't hurt. Keep at it, and you’ll get that Civic back in the game! P.S. I emailed you this answer as well.
