car won’t shift out of park and key can get out of ignition

Hello, if the shift lever will not come out of park, it is usually an indication that the brake light switch is not working or that circuit has a blown fuse. Testing should be performed on that circuit to find out what's going on. The driver's door lock button may or may not be related to this concern. Are you saying the key will or will not come out of the ignition key cylinder?
