What is your question?
I am replacing the front break pads on a 2005 Honda Civic. I have turned the top & bottom Caliper bolts counterclockwise several dozen times, but they will not unscrew, and cannot be removed. Is there a trick to this?

the caliper bolts screw into a long slide pin that fits into the caliper bracket, you may need to hold the slide pin to actually unscrew the bolt. there is usually a 17 or 19mm nut that you can hold with a wrench while turning the bolt. it would be directly on the other side of the caliper bolt ears from the bolt itself. if you actually got the bolts out & the caliper is stuck, open the bleeder screw & pull the caliper off by hand, the open bleeder should allow the piston to retract when you push towards it.
There is a small metal tab near the bolt head your trying to turn. Get a pair of pliers and hold it in position while your turning the bolt.
Thank You!
