The code po741 is on ? What does this mean What do I need to do

I have seen many of this codes set due to faulty PCM (computer). You have few option: - Reset the code and see if it comes back, sometimes codes sets due to a glitch in the electronic systems, low battery, etc... -You can get a trough diagnostic from a Honda specialty shop or the dealer and repair it accordingly. -Ignore it until start to act up - it might take a while. - Perform a transmission flush, use the correct ATF. dtc po741 means that the torque converter clutchsolenoid is faulty or stuck off

This code indicates a problem in the torque converter lockup system. The car probably needs to go to the trans shop. Probably the only thing you can do is drain the fluid into a clean container and see if there are any metal flakes or pieces of metal in the fluid. If you see any you will need a rebuild. If no metal then try to drain and fill the fluid and disconnect the battery to clear the engine light and drive it to see if the code comes back. USE ONLY HONDA Z-1 TRANS FLUID!!
