I have a 2004 honda civic lx i changed the oxygen sensor but still im getting the check engine and is still throwing the p0134 any solution

I just put an new oxygen sensor on my honda civic lx i had to cut the the old harness to put on the new sensor but still the check engine light comes out i cleared it with a scanner but it came back on again any thing i can do next.

What makes this problem better or worse?
