I can’t keep AC in my car

So I just got this car and they said they just put a new compressor in it. I pull it into a vacuum and then put refrigerate in it. That works for about a day and then the belt will squeal, the car boggs down and then it’s hot air again. I’m not sure what else it could be unless this new compressor is bad. I changed the expansion valve and replaced the cabin air filter as well.
