2004 honda civic shaking

2004 honda civic shakes when in reverse and sometimes when stopped with my foot on the brakes. if i go 25 mph or more then slam on the brakes to a complete stop, the engine dies and the oil and battery light come on and power steering stops. the battery is tested good. I suspect its engine mounts. Before it dies when slamming on brakes, the rpms drop and the car shakes

What makes this problem better or worse?

it dies more often when engine is cold, but always shakes in reverse
