Hi - Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. When your engine starts and dies instantly, it is usually a concern with the amount of air that is coming into the engine to mix with fuel and spark. If there's too much air, it will stall, and if there's not enough air, it will choke and stall.
