Car does not start and check for spark there is no spark so i change the distrubutator to a new one and still dont start i scan it and it says p1382 cyp sensor
How long has your 1998 Honda Civic had this problem?

Hi, I'm one of the auto experts on RepairPal's Car Genius team! Sounds like you have done quite a bit to get to the bottom of this already! The code that you are getting on your 1998 Honda Civic is for the Cylinder Position sensor, so you are on the right track. The sensor is part of your distributor which you have already replaced. This leads me to believe that either the distributor you got is faulty, there is a wiring issue to the distributor, or potentially an issue with the PCM.
