feul gauge problems

It sounds like a baffle in the gas tank has broken loose. Honda's have a baffle inside them to keep the level of gas around the sending unit steady and when the baffle moves or breaks it creates issues like you are describing. The easiest way to find out is to pull the fuel pump out and look inside the tank. See if you can move the baffle. If the baffle is broken then you will need to replace the tank to fix it.
