the needle goes to the white line. i have had the thermostat replaced, head gaskets replaced, head pressurized to make sure its not cracked. it gets hot when im on the freeway and i have to have the heater on. also doesnt get hot when i drive streets, unless i go a certain speed.

Hello! How long ago was the above work performed? If the car only gets hot above a certain speed or load, there could simply be an air pocket in the cooling system. I doubt it's anything with the fans if the car doesn't get hot while sitting. Going deeper, the water pump may be failing. If the water pump is going out, as you accelerate, it wouldn't be able to circulate enough coolant to keep the engine at the correct temperature. All work was done within the last month, the gaskets were done this last week. Only had the car for a month.
