My 95 delsol makes a throaty exhaust noise when i first accelerate-has been happening for a few weeks now. A shop I took it to says I have rotted baffles and said it would cost $400 to replace. Is this a fair price? No leaks found otherwise.

The baffling doesn’t get replaced - the muffler ASSEMBLY is what’s needed.
Muffler shop will have the best price and a quality muffler as well.
