What is your question?
I have a automatic 2018 Honda Accord and I noticed when I had it in park my gear shift was leaning toward my side. It was crooked. Is there long term damage by not getting it fixed?

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! A crooked or off centered shift lever on your generation Accord is usually more of a cosmetic annoyance than a mechanical emergency. It's likely just a loose or worn shifter bezel, a trim piece that's shifted slightly, or the shifter assembly itself isn't seated perfectly. As long as it's shifting through all gears properly and engaging each one firmly, there's no immediate long term damage to worry about. That said, if it feels loose or sloppy when shifting or you're having trouble getting into certain gears, that would warrant a closer look sooner rather than later!
