Starter

Hello, first - I definitely strongly recommend a Honda starter motor for this vehicle. Aftermarket options are less expensive but less satisfactory in my experience. Sounds like you'll need to replace the starter motor with a known good quality one (get a Honda unit) and then recheck. Make sure it's not a concern where your timing belt has failed or jumped time. That would be another reason for no start -- if it cranks in any way. That could be what you're hearing also. Too hard to know what's going on without seeing it first hand.
