Hi - I am Dave, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. When you have to turn the key several times, does the engine crank? Or is it no crank -- until you finally get it to crank over? What is happening changes the direction of how to diagnose - if it's no cranking, you'll want to check the starting system. If it's cranking without starting, you'll want to get into engine performance - fuel, spark, air and so forth.
