Occasional gear grinding sound when trying to start.

Hello, there could be an issue with where the starter motor mates with the flywheel also. Refer to service bulletin 16-002 -- there is a procedure there to replace the starter motor and rotate the torque converter and flywheel one bolt hole. This may be what's going on, but can't sway for sure.
