What is your question?
Interior temperature not warm enough unless I turn the fan to full blast. Had the water pump and thermostat and filters replaced, only helped a little. Also even in moderately chilly weather I have to run the AC with the heater or the car totally fogs up within a minute! Never had these issues with my Camrys. This is the only Honda I’ve owned. Been reading about heater control valves. I don’t recall the mechanic mentioning that. Could it be the problem? I’ve already spent $964 on this! 😩
How long has your 2015 Honda Accord had this problem?
Owned the car for a year, has gotten worse in past 2 months.

Hello, I work with Honda's daily and can't think of a single ventilation concern affecting heating within a 2015 Accord in my repair shop. That doesn't mean it can't happen, it just means that it's an unusual concern and is likely related to attempted repairs more than an actual concern. I can't remember a time where a Honda water pump 'failed' to circulate coolant, which means someone was almost certainly guessing -- and guessing badly. My biggest concern right now is that with these invasive repairs, you have introduced air into the cooling system. The air pockets can cause a lack of heating, as well as other issues. Also, what quality and temperature thermostat was installed? Only a Honda factory part should be used to ensure it opens at the proper temperature -- and not sooner! Lastly, all cars require use of air conditioning system operation to defog the windows. That's entirely normal. Your system - set to front defrost - will always engage the air conditioning compressor. Air conditioning does not only "create cold air", but it also dehumidifies the interior of a space, causing the windows to defog. I'd strongly recommend getting a different opinion from a different technician as to what is going on.
