What is your question?
I bought my 2013 Honda Accord EX-L Coupe brand new in 2013. I have done all required maintenance since then, including frequent oil changes. Other than some early problems with the CVT, it has been a trouble free car. I'd like to put another 100,000+ miles on it. I'm an old guy who is used to doing preventive maintenance things when I got to the 100,000 mile point with cars I've owned. I usually replaced hoses, belts, water pump, spark plug wires and other things that used to fail at that mileage. I've been told that modern cars, especially very reliable cars like Hondas, don't need that kind of maintenance. I take long road trips and really don't want to break down in a desert somewhere, but I also don't want to spend money on preventative maintenance, if it isn't necessary. Based on your knowledge and experience with cars built in the last 5-10 years, especially Hondas, what would you recommend I do, beyond regular maintenance?
