why my car makes a whining noise when it goes in reverse

my car whine in reverse it occurs every time it goes in reverse. it make this whining sound when i push the gas paddle or even when i dont push the gas paddle

What makes this problem better or worse?

pushing on the gas paddle while in reverse. even when i release the gas paddle while in reverse the whining continues
