What is your question?
Noise seems to be toward the rear of the car when decelerating. It only lasts for an few seconds and then goes away. Haven't noticed it when accelerating or while in a normal driving mode. The tachometer doesn't seem t be jumping. Mileage is about 137K. No leaks. Had transmission serviced recently... flushed and replaced fluid. Tech said the old fluid was "cloudy", but cycled the fluid several times with a professional transmission machine until it the outgoing fluid was clear. Had the transmission re-checked after 10 days... everything was OK.
How long has your 2012 Honda Accord had this problem?
a few weeks

Hi, this is Bo, an auto expert on RepairPal's Car Genius team! If your car shakes when decelerating and the noise seems to come from the rear, it could be due to worn or misaligned components in the drivetrain or suspension. Since the transmission has been serviced recently, make sure all mounts and connections are secure. Sometimes a loose heat shield or exhaust component can also cause vibrations. Check the rear suspension, bushings, and brakes for wear or damage. If the problem started after the transmission service, it might be worth a second look at the drivetrain to ensure everything is seated properly. Let's get that shaking sorted so your ride's smooth again! If you have any other questions, please call us at 877-913-1554! We'll gladly find you a certified RepairPal shop in your area!
