how to fix outdoor temperature gauge

What is your question?

gauge sometimes reads -40 or other incorrect numbers. I am in Dallas Texas and I know general temperature but gauge has started to only work sometimes. It always has a temperature display, just sometimes no where near actual temp.

How long has your 2009 Honda Accord had this problem?
