What is your question?
Have a 2005 Honda Accord LX 2.4 I just replaced power steering pump and belt, before that I replaced alternator. I'm confused My power steering works fine and tension seems fine on dry days Only when it rains or snows, my power steering makes a whine and battery indicator comes on and I temporarily lose all power assist. Again my tension seems just fine. I know others have had this problem Again I changed the power steering pump and there's zero leaks, no loss of fluid. I changed the belt as well, tension is fine I changed the alternator with a remanufactured one and it works great! Only when it's raining this happens. Under engine shield is in tact, fenders are in tact, pulleys all seem fine and again I know this is common, what next should I replace? Is it the belt? It's a gates belt btw, I was told they aren't the best. Is the tensioners bearings bad? When I sprayed mist on belt, the belt froze, stopped spinning completely and pump whined. Once dry it spun fast again. What is next?
What makes this problem better or worse?
Rain, water on roads, snow, wetness
How long has your 2006 Honda Accord had this problem?
Couple months
