Why is a 2005 honda accord lx clutch more expensive to replace than a 2003 infin

Manufacturers use different oem suppliers, also, the cars are not built the same. The parts make up most of the cost. I'm sure you can find a decent aftermarket clutch kit anywhere online for our cars. Mine is a 05 lx, I have a stage 2 clutch in it. I paid $179 for the kit and installed it myself, took 3 hours and many breaks.
