What is your question?
About a week ago my battery light came on the dashboard and it eventually my car shut off. I left it somewhere all night. Charged my battery all night. Came back the next day put the battery in and bought new terminals for the battery and the car ran fine for about a week or so.. and then out of nowhere my car dies on me again while driving. I bought a new battery and it got me home and then died right when I was pulling in driveway. I have also had a oil leak for a long time now. I have had to change the serpentine belt once and that was a couple months ago.
How long has your 2005 Honda Accord had this problem?
More than a week

Hi - Dave here, contributing to RepairPal and providing expert advice since 2010. The battery light being on is indicative of the charging system not working properly. This can be due to the alternator, having no output or low output, or it could be due to the alternator, not being driven properly by the belt. Or there could be a wiring connector issue. Since you mentioned an oil leak, I am imagining that oil could be leaking on the belt and or the alternator causing failure. You will probably need to repair the oil leak first and then replaced components that are not working. A hands on inspection is needed. https://repairpal.com/auto-repair-near-me Click the link to find some shops near you who can help out!
