What is your question?
I am in the process of purchasing a 2003 Honda Accord EX 4 Cyl. with 96K miles. The code P0341 Camshaft Positioner A Bank 1 Ckt. Range / Perf is being read. Is this the CP sensor , faulty wiring or does it lead to another problem. The car is driven daily by the owner and drove the car for one Hr when it was cold and another Hr after it had been running for some time. What is the process to diognose this and the location of the sensors

I would think twice about this car, because often times this code appears when the VTEC ( Electronic Valve Timing ) is not correct, due to gunk in the oil passages, from infrequent oil changes, or the timing belt was improperly changed or has really stretched. In California, where I work, you can NOT sell a car, until all theses issues have been PROPERLY resolved. Why take a chance? I do not see many Honda Cam Sensor codes, except for the reasons I mentioned above, and I work in a shop that races Honda Cars, so we know them pretty well. Food for thought.
Thanks. This engine is a 4 cyl with a timing chain and the oil has been faithfully changed with 5W/30 syn. Does that change the possibilities as to the cause. So i am probally better off having the current owner pay to have it diognosed at a Honda dealer for $60.00 and they said that they would supply a detailed report. Thanks Again
