What is your question?
I have replaced my ignition switch behind my steering wheel and have been starting my car with the new key while keeping the old key in the chip ring for months. Now after this collision my car will not start.

Hello, first of all -- fixing the car right by having a properly programmed key present to start the vehicle must be handled. You can't bypass this problem that you've tried to circumvent -- it must be resolved before testing any other thing. If you do this and the problem remains, then you'll have to figure out why there is no spark. Hands on testing of the vehicle ignition system is needed. Check engine compression, check for a possible timing belt concern causing a timing issue. Use this link to find some shops near you that can help with your concern: www.repairpal.com/repair-shops
