What is your question?
I will turn my lights on at night and the lights in the dash will turn on for a short time or they won't even turn on. Sometimes if I hit the top of the dash they will turn on again but for a short period of time. Can this be due to a loose fuse? If so where is it located?

HaHaHa, sometimes a good slap is a great diagnostic tool! I'm having the same issue with my '97 although the slap to fix method doesn't help. I have found what I believe is causing the problem on my car, though. The knob to the left of the steering column that is used to control the brightness of the dash lights appears to have a short or bad connection. If my dashlights go out I simply tap the knob and they come back on for a while. I imagine that it is a fairly cheap and easy fix, but for now I just deal with it. On a positive note, I have become an expert in morse code as a result of the constant tapping and flashing of the dashlights. There's always a silver lining, Mr. Maynard!
