It may be a sign of a failing transmission. Honda do not have a removable transmission oil pan like most other automatic transmissions but it may be worth trying changing the transmission fluid and using the recommended Honda ATF-Z1 fluid. Get the transmission oil hot, drain it, refill it check the level with the engine off, drive the car through all the gears and switch off the engine, recheck the transmission oil level and top up as required.
