I got my oil changed. When I picked up my car, the check engine light came on. I went back and the guy said he could get me back in for 3 days. I went home. Went out later to go to the store. Car was missing so badly I was afraid I would get stranded and went back home. Any ideas?
What makes this problem better or worse?
Afraid to drive it for fear it will stall (any ideas)?
How long has your 2000 Honda Accord had this problem?

Hello, a simple oil and filter change -- with the proper engine oil grade and a quality oil filter - should not cause you any troubles. If the wrong grade of oil was used, or if there's plastic contamination from an oil filter wrapper, it can cause engine problems. Impossible to know until evaluation is performed. Check to ensure the proper oil grade of 5W30 was used.
