HOW TO REPLACE THE BRAKE LIGHT SWITCH

You may also get 'rear ended' and you would be held liable with inoperative brake lights and or get a ticket. Either way it is a good idea to fix them ASAP. Remove the lower dash bezel or panel so you can see the brake switch that rests against the brake pedal lever. Then just disconnect the electrical connector and remove it and replace the switch. We recommend using a factory Brake Switch.
