What is your question?
I purchased my 1999 honda accord roughly two years ago from a chrysler dealer...Recently it started acting funny meaning it would start and cut right out..It took about 4-5 times before it would stay running but then ran fine....Yesterday was doing 70 on the thruway and it cut out completely dash board lights never came on just lost power totally being two hours away i wasnt comfortable continuing so i turned around and came back home..called honda n was told it was the ignition switch..was informed of the price for parts and repair but never told there was in fact a recall for that same problem on the same year make n model as mine...apparantly it was recalled in 05 which i clearly didnt own the vehicle then...do i still qualify for getting it replaced under the recall or do i have to pay for it myself...

Ignition relay is another suspect , the soldered joints break down producing an intermittent connection that works its way to a total loss of ignition ! check it out before going to replace the switch ! a lot of people make that mistake!
Reading your question anyone with knowledge of these Hondas would immediately suspect the ignition switch, classic pattern failure for this car on what is otherwise a great car. I would call Honda North America customer service and see what they say. They can check quickly to see if the switch was previously replaced. 1-800-999-1009
