my passenger headlight has a short, i beleive. i have replaced it once already and it already is out again. it will come back on every now and then but not for very long. the brights still work, just not the dims. please help! thank you!

Sounds like you have a bad bulb, as the filament burs out, it can act just as you describe. If you look carefully at the filament, you may even see that it is broken.
I have a '05 Honda Accord. I have been having the same issue on and off for over a year now. I can't tell you how many headlights that I have purchased. When I go to replace the headlight, which it not the easiest, If I remove it and reinsert it, it will work. It will go off and on for weeks and then burn out altogether. It is so frustrating. I wish I knew what the problem was. Please let me know if anybody has a solution!
