Why is the fan motor turning on after I park my car?

What is your question?

Within the past 3 mos. the fan motor in my 1997 Honda Accord EX turns on after I switch off the engine. According to the temp gauge, the car isn't over heating although it will only do this if I driving for more than 20 consecutive minutes.
