My 1996 Honda Accord is shifting slowly out of second gear. What could the problem be?

Since it's gotten to be colder weather I start my car and let it warm up for about ten minutes before I leave. Two days ago it started running sluggish and has a little bit of problem switching out of second gear. It comes out of second but it takes to long to shift. What could be my issue please and thank you?
